Food is all about fostering community. Regardless of culture, food brings people together. Breaking bread with family as well as friends dates back to ancient times. Meals are the currency of kinship. Indeed, recipes become a tradition, our link to familial history. Furthermore food is ritual and celebration. Whether for religious reasons or milestones in life, food always is at the center of such occasions.

While a majority of our recipes are spicy food related, hence the name of our website. We encourage our followers to adjust the heat to a level of spice that suits their personal taste. Christopher Turan
Christopher’s Turkish multicultural background has always revolved around a love of cooking. As a child he would help his Grandmother and Great-Grandmother cook. It was here that he learned the basics of cooking. Other interests in travel and and a career in architectural design further expanded his exploration food. Chris has traveled throughout the Caribbean and Europe. Furthermore, Chris’ extensive design experience gives him a unique perspective on the function of cooking. He has designed numerous kitchens in his career.
Steve Yanni
Steve grew up in a large Italian family in Ohio. Every meal was a celebration and where Steve developed his passion for food. At an early age he moved to Texas . This is where he learned more about Mexican and South American cuisine. Steve opened up his first Italian restaurant in Fort Worth. To critical acclaim he cooked everything from handmade pizzas to the classics. While no-longer in the restaurant business his main passion remains the art of food.
